100m upstream of Zone 1, the low and high friction hydrographs overlay one another.
(The long profiles of flood water depth against time are compared for low and high friction landuse. Five high friction zones are imposed on a 24hour 25cumec event. Gauge stations are set up in software upstream (U) and downstream (D) of the friction zones.)
